Rockingham Arms PhotoSituated in a private village, part of the Wentworth Estate, The Rockingham Arms is a very old, attractive public house with all the facilities to ensure you have a pleasant stay.  The whole pub is very traditional and olde worlde with authentic old seating.  The pub comprises of a main bar, stocked with a wide range of products, a children's room, locals room, small dining room suitable for 24 people and two function facilities.  Across the road from the main pub we have some excellent accommodation.  This is a stone building with rooms from singles to a bridal suite.  All the rooms are large with high ceilings and have much character but with modern comfortable furniture!  Both the Fitz William room and the separate barn are ideal venues for large gatherings, including weddings and birthday parties.  Outside you will find a very well maintained large beer garden and adjoining bowling green.  This is a very popular feature in the summer.  Why not bring friends and family for a special time either to dine or have a drink in relaxing surroundings.  Our friendly staff look forward to welcoming you soon.

Locally:
Wentworth House is only 15 minutes walk from the Rockingham Arms and is the longest stately home in England.  As well as the house there are many local historical attractions, including the village church, in this very beautiful location.  Make a day of it and of course don't forget a visit to the Rockingham Arms!

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
