Highwayman PhotoThe Highwayman is a large, stylish family run pub & carvery restaurant.  Fully refurbished to a high standard in February 2008, there is a sumptuous feel with walls decorated in creams, sage green, deep plum and chocolate brown.  The indoor play area has been removed to create a light and airy, 250 cover restaurant, in a traditional style with a modern twist. We offer full full table service in the restaurant with great service guaranteed.  Our new carvery has a daily selection of fresh roast meats, all British Farm Assured, served with a range of seasonal fresh vegetables.  If you prefer you can choose from our table menu, with a variety of freshly prepared dishes with something to suit all tastes.  The table menu can also be sampled in the bar area which has a further 100 covers.  To provide a homely environment, sofa seating has been added so you can come along to enjoy a drink alone or with friends, maybe just a fresh coffee and take advantage of our free wireless internet connection.  With a huge drinks selection both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, quality food and fantastic atmosphere, we have something to tempt everyone.
