 The Chestnut Tree can be found on the roundabout known locally as 'Car
City' where all the car showrooms are located 1½ miles from the town
centre. Built in 2001 and fully refurbished to a high standard in
December 2007, we have a smart, light, modern look. Mixed seating
throughout the pub includes sofas in the bar, high poser tables and
coffee tables. All walks of
life come here from business people having a lunchtime meeting to families
wanting to use our excellent Playbarn facilities for the younger
visitors. The pub is divided into a family area and adult area which
allows for quiet conversation if preferred. An excellent selection
of menus is available to choose from, including a separate children's
choice. Food can be
eaten anywhere in the pub, either in the laid out dining area or the
more casual bar setting. Whether it is a drink to be had from our
well stocked bar or a delicious meal with family and friends, the friendly team look forward to your visit.
