NEW
SUMMER FOOD AND WINE MENU
|
Recommended Landlord’s Favourites:
Lincolnshire Sausages, Chips and Beans, Fish
& Chips and Spaghetti Bolognese
New Summer Dishes:
Chicken Breast & Crispy Bacon, Toasted
Tortilla wraps and our selection of filled
to overflowing Jacket Potatoes.
Or perhaps a Triple Decker Sandwich filled
with Fish fingers or Steak & fried onion.
From our New Wine Menu:
Rose Wines:
Zinfandel Rose from the US, packed with
raspberry flavours.
White Wines:
Pinot Grigio Garganega, great with our
grilled Chicken & Bacon salad and
Niersteiner, a perfect match to our Chicken
Tikka Masala.
Red Wines:
Cabernet Sauvignon, that will definitely
compliment one of our Aberdeen Angus burgers
a treat.

The Stags Head
is located about a mile from Dumbarton town centre in a residential
area. Travelling on the road to Helensborough, take a sharp left
turn at Dumbarton East Station Bridge. The pub opened in 1967 and
Ian was here at the beginning! Refurbished in the first part of
2007, we had a re-paint with new fixtures and fittings. Still a traditional bar with a
traditional look, very much for the locals. A steady trade
builds up during the week until, by the weekend it is best to be here
before 9pm to ensure a seat. Setanta & Sky Sports are
shown on the plasma and big screens and other entertainment includes
karaoke, discos and a quiz. Why not call in and enjoy a drink at a
discount price and meet the local regulars who make this the sociable
venue it is.
