Photo Coming SoonThe Stags Head is located about a mile from Dumbarton town centre in a residential area. Travelling on the road to Helensborough, take a sharp left turn at Dumbarton East Station Bridge. The pub opened in 1967 and Ian was here at the beginning!  Refurbished in the first part of 2007, we had a re-paint with new fixtures and fittings.  Still a traditional bar with a traditional look, very much for the locals.  A steady trade builds up during the week until, by the weekend it is best to be here before 9pm to ensure a seat.  Setanta & Sky Sports are shown on the plasma and big screens and other entertainment includes karaoke, discos and a quiz.  Why not call in and enjoy a drink at a discount price and meet the local regulars who make this the sociable venue it is.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
