Photo Coming SoonThe Oban Inn is a quaint pub situated on the sea front in the fishing community of Argyll.  We re-opened following a refurbishment in May 2008 with a fresh look whilst retaining it's traditional features.  The Oban has been re-painted externally and re-decorated inside along with new carpets.  With entries in the Swedish Guide book and the Lonely Planet we attract tourists from the world over and in high season there are queues outside the door before opening time!  Offering the best food in town the atmosphere is laid back in true West Highland fashion. Inside, the lounge has wood panelling and stained glass.  This room can seat and cater for up to 40 people for private parties when required. The downstairs bar is old fashioned with stone floors, money on the beams and has ships flags on the ceilings.  Our visitors, who include back packers, mix well with the local regulars.  If you are on holiday in the area come and enjoy a delicious meal or sample the 40 malt whiskies!  You are sure to have a memorable time.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
