As you travel through South West Scotland on the scenic
A713 towards Ayr, the Isles with the Highlands beyond, you will find the
Lochinvar Hotel in the historic village of Dalry. This very attractive
venue, adjacent to the Galloway National Park and set amidst rolling hills with
rivers and lochs, was originally a Coaching Inn dating back to 1720 and has been
extended over the years since. Inside, the Lochinvar offers really
comfortable surroundings to relax and enjoy a meal or drink from the well
stocked bar. Food is freshly prepared using locally grown
produce wherever possible to be eaten in the dining room. There is a Function Room available for that special
occasion and another room for business meetings and the like. The public
bar is the oldest part of the building and houses a wood burning stove along
with the wine and beer cellars. This is where the locals enjoy their pint
of the best! Add to all this the 15 room hotel accommodation upstairs and
this is a place you must visit very soon. Laura and Gordon, along with
their helpful staff look forward to giving you a fine Scottish
welcome!
