Located in Mingavie town centre, close to the railway station and
taxi rank, the Cross Keys is an easily accessible venue within a shopping
precinct. This John Barras style pub is at the start (or end) of the West
Highland Way so attracts many walkers for a celebratory drink or to pluck up
courage for the hike! This is very much a traditional community pub with a
lively but comfortable atmosphere which never really quietens down. The
clientele range from local regulars to tourists looking to experience a 'real'
old fashioned Scottish pub! Food is very popular here with a choice main
menu and specials board to find your favourite dish. Meals can be
pre-ordered by phone or fax for busy people with limited time available for
lunch. We show all major matches on the big screen and four other TVs
around the bar. On a Saturday night this helps create a really good
atmosphere. Other entertainment includes quiz evenings, karaoke and
disco nights. Next time you are in the area, drop in for a meal or a
quality pint and receive your warm welcome from Deborah and her helpful staff.
