The Black Bear Beefeater is a large establishment situated very close to where
the M73 meets the M74. As well as the good road access we are
close to both train and bus services and only eight miles from Glasgow
City Centre. With 174 covers in our restaurant we can
cater for large parties, offering a superb range of menus to cater for
everyone's tastes. The restaurant is on four levels and the bar
area on two to create a more cosy environment. We had a major
refurbishment in 2006 which saw the introduction of comfortable booth
seating and a modern, stylish open plan layout. The whole
venue is clean, bright and airy. Surrounded by houses and with
the Premier Inn next door we see a wide range of customers.
During the day we are popular for business lunches and also attract local
custom. In the evenings couples and families come in to have a
quality dining experience. At weekends we are also a popular
location for special occasions. With the crematorium only 200
yards away we are often chosen as the place to hold the wake. Why not
