 The Barrachnie Inn is located about five miles from the centre
of Glasgow at Garrowhill. The Glasgow Fort shopping centre is just at the
back of the pub which makes this an ideal venue for shoppers. This
community, John Barras style, open plan building is very old. It had a
sparkle in Spring 2004 so now has a fresh, clean environment. There is a very
mixed age range with children welcome when dining with an adult. The
clientele has a good base of regulars along with shoppers and teachers from the
two nearby schools. Food can be pre-ordered by phone to save valuable
waiting time for people with busy time schedules. We have a food offer
during the week which is particularly popular. Entertainment includes the
obligatory sport which is shown on the big screen. Karaoke, discos and
monthly live entertainment help to make this the fun venue it is so when you are
down this way come and try out the atmosphere first hand. The helpful team look forward to your visit.
