 The
Ardencaple Hotel is situated between Rhu and Helensburgh on the
east side of Gareloch. It is approached by the main A82, turning left into
the A814 at Dunbarton. Glasgow airport is just a forty five minute drive
from here. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside, have easy
access to the coast and are close to three golf courses! This must make
us the
ideal base for exploring the region. We are also only five minutes by
car from Loch Lomond
and forty five minutes drive from Glasgow City Centre. Built in the
mid 18th Century this old venue is full of character with
nooks and crannies. The front of the building is original and there is an
extension to the back. We are very near a naval base so are always
pleased to welcome the sailors from there. Tourists come during the summer
months, many staying in our comfortable accommodation. We also have a
function room which can hold up to 60 people for private parties.
