The Sun is a very
imposing building at the large entrance to Godalming
High Street where three roads meet. The beautiful flowers
displayed around the pub ensure we cannot be missed. The patio area to
the rear is also covered with flowers and there is a large
Jumbrella covering half the area to make it ideal
for al fresco dining. The
manager's efforts have been rewarded by the pub
being awarded the 'Best Public
House' award and 'Godalming in Bloom 2009'. We are popular
for our food, live music and Sport so we cater for a
wide variety of people. Our food is all
homemade and you can taste the quality serving in
our traditional dishes causing our customers to keep returning!
We have a good regular locals crowd who join us and
we support the local football team, Milford Green,
by sponsoring them. We have strategically
placed the screens so even when dining you can watch
the match. We also have two Sky boxes to make
sure nothing is missed! Shoppers and
passers by often call in for a rest and a bite
to eat or drink. Why not join them next time
