The Star
is an attractive, traditional olde
English pub situated in Malden Rushett. We re-opened following a
refurbishment in October 2008 with new decor of more neutral colours, new
carpets, furniture, fixtures & fittings to give it a stylish look. We
have a separate bar with now two dining areas. Being close to Ashtead
Common, we welcome many walkers in for a refreshing drink or meal.
Historically, part of the bar used to be an old school house.
Today this is a destination food house where people come to enjoy the
various tempting suggestions on the menu and Specials board. There
is an extensive wine menu to choose from to accompany your meal or some
real ales if preferred. With Cask Marque accreditation these are
served to perfection! For our younger visitors there is a
children's menu and also table activities to amuse them while the adults
enjoy their conversation. Come along soon and meet the friendly,
helpful staff and have a meal or drink to remember. |
