The Star is situated in the centre of the village of Ewell. The pub is made up of three buildings - a small bar, an office and a bank amalgamated into one building.  A good regular locals pub, there is a great atmosphere with a good mixture of live music at the weekends and sport during the week. Recently redecorated, this pub has kept a classic look but has bright wall colours setting off the dark wood which has cream beading.  There are two tables in the pool area which has a modern look with posters of cult films adorning the walls.  We have a snug which is a small area closed off and the lounge and bar areas, each with an open fireplace giving a cosy atmosphere.  The lounge is the quieter area.  There is a dance floor for Friday and Saturday nights and we operate an over 21^'s policy on those nights.   With a light and airy main bar and flowers in the windows, the friendly staff will make you very welcome when you call in.
