REFURBISHMENT	Gale welcomes everyone to the Peacock Lodge following a Ł500,000 refurbishment in 2009 and a fabulous new look. Come along and see us soon.

The Peacock, also known locally as the Peacock Lodge, is easily spotted on the main A22 in Newchapel, just outside East Grinstead. With relatively few regulars who usually enjoy the small bar area our main claim to fame is as a 2 for Ł10 eating house sporting a fabulous Ł500,000 refurbishment. The outside displays new signage with the trade mark colours of black & gold along with new outdoor furniture. Inside the bar is still the focal point but she been re-positioned which has now created extra dining space. We have some great touches such as the glass partitions and lovely comfy seating to relax before dining if you wish. Wholesome meals are available daily from a varied main menu. To complement your meal we offer a range of wines and a number of quality beers are at the bar. We are a very busy establishment and at weekends it is advisable to come early! The team take pride in offering an efficient, helpful service with a friendly smile. This large pub has a huge beer garden for the summer months. The younger family members are offered an outdoor play area to keep them amused and, in turn, give their carers a chance to chill out and have some uninterrupted conversation.
