Set in the picturesque rural location of Chipstead, with fields to the back
and a country road to the front, the Midday Sun
is a very welcoming place to visit. Fully refurbished to a high
standard in October 2008, we have a contemporary, sexy feel with fresh
colours. You can choose to relax in the bar area which has a mixture
of seating including comfy seats, tall stools and even more tables.
Dining here is a pleasure, with booth seating in the restaurant, nine of
which have plasma screens, so small groups can enjoy their own private
viewing. This Hungry Horse venue is well know for its quality pub
food. Our restaurant has 160 covers, with a further 100 seats
available outside in the summer for al fresco dining. The menu offers our
customers an extensive choice of dishes and with a separate children's menu
we are ideal for a family meal out. As well as catering for diners we
are a good community pub with varied entertainment throughout the week
including regular quiz nights and live entertainment. Come and try a
