 Bridge Barn
is an attractive pub located beside the
canal, easily accessed from Junction 11 of the M25 close to Thorpe Arch.
Dating back to the 16th / 17th Century, the building has retained its
traditional quaint bar with low ceilings and a couple of original beams.
Having had a refurbishment in August 2006 the upstairs restaurant has 160 covers and is quite modern, in contrast, with booth
seating and contemporary colours of orange, beige and cream.
Outside there is a beer garden which has a children's play area with
slide and climbing frame all overlooking the canal. There is a
lovely canal walk which takes you to Woking in about 10 minutes.
The al fresco dining area is cordoned off, edged with shrubs and offers
waitress service during those warm sunny days of summer. The
Premier Inn next door has been built in the same very British style of
the pub to look in keeping with it. Come along soon to this
delightful setting and be welcomed by the warm, friendly staff who will
serve you an excellent meal or a relaxing drink.
