The Boatman,
formerly known as the Weyside, is just a ten minute walk from the centre of Guildford. Set
in a beautiful location right on the riverside overlooking fields and trees this
top class food house has a lot to offer. The pub itself has many levels
with contemporary decor. There is a very light and airy atmosphere with
comfortable sofas and coffee tables.
The restaurant has slate floors and open beamed ceilings overlooking an
open kitchen. The food we serve is freshly prepared from a daily
changing menu and offers genuine flexibility in size and choice, so that children can be
accommodated. The well stocked bar
gives an amazing choice of wines to complement your meal. Real ales and other
drinks are also available. There is a full range of coffees to choose
from, rounding off a
delicious dining experience. We offer complete waitress service for added
enjoyment. A unique feature of the Boatman
is the outside upper
decking area which seats 40, the lower decking area where you can dip your toes in
