 Located
opposite the station and about five minutes walk from the town centre the Station
Hotel has a mainly commuter clientele with people starting
their evening out here before moving into town. Food is served from
a main menu and can be eaten anywhere in the pub or in the beer garden
which leads down to the river. Having had a sparkle in 2004 the one
bar area has a modern, bright airy feel with traditional décor.
Terrestrial Sport can be enjoyed from anywhere in the pub with two big
screens and other TV’s dotted around the place. There is also a pool table
to one side for the more active sports enthusiasts! We attract both
home and away supporters but on match days we are in a scheme arranged
with the police to ensure a safe atmosphere. Our Public
Entertainment Licence allows us to hold regular entertainment such as live
bands, disco's & karaoke's. Whether you are looking
for a quiet
drink with friends or a private function venue, we
can sort you out at the Station.
