The Spread Eagle is situated on the outskirts of Bury St
Edmunds on the Horringer Road. This is a recently refurbished, female friendly, trouble free
venue where our slogan is 'a pub for all ages'. Since taking over in
2005 Johnny & Shelly have made some great changes. Food is now served
every day from a varied main menu offering you the best in pub food and a
new delicious Sunday roast lunch. You can
eat anywhere in the pub
or in the large beer garden during the
summer months. The younger clientele can amuse themselves in the
outdoor play area whilst their carers enjoy a 'chill out' in the warm
sunshine! The excellent atmosphere within the pub attracts a good mix of
people including passing trade, especially from the hospital close by.
