 The Royal George is located about a five minute drive out of Ipswich. With a bus stop just outside and buses every 20 minutes this is a very accessible, popular meeting point, especially at weekends prior to going on into town later. We are also very convenient for the new waterfront development at the marina and nearby sports facility being built for Olympic training. We re-opened following a refurbishment in October 2008 with a fresh, new look & a brand new kitchen. We attract clientele of the complete age spectrum as there is something for everyone here. Inside this pub there is an open plan bar which has a well segregated sports area, a dining area and new chill out area with leather sofas, ideal for relaxing with a drink. All major matches are shown on the big screen and there is a pool table to enjoy a friendly game over a pint of the best. Meals can be chosen from an extensive main menu.
