The Greengage underwent a full refurbishment in May 2008. A family friendly venue we have improved service and food and have excellent facilities. With a new modern look, a fireplace and colour scheme of greens, reds and creams, the restaurant has been extended and has new booth seating, six of which have TVs in, great for small groups of families. All our tables and chairs are new and there is a sofa in the sports bar. We serve delicious meals throughout the pub from an extensive menu with something to suit all ages and tastes. Situated in a residential area of Bury St. Edmunds we have a great atmosphere with a trouble free and female friendly environment. Other attractions of the pub are the pool table and big screens showing all major matches including those on Sky & Setanta. We attract friendly locals and people from far and wide who come for our food. The staff at the Greengage work very hard to maintain high standards so that all our customers leave with a smile.
