The Golf
is located in Rushmere, a small village adjacent to the town of Ipswich in Suffolk.
Local attractions include Speedway, less than a mile from here and
Rushmere Gold Park, not far away. This impressive traditional
venue has a
back bar with a pool table and darts board along with a projector
to view any football, rugby or other Sport requested - we're flexible.
There is a large, family orientated bar and restaurant plus a
conservatory which families enjoy. There is also an indoor play
area for our younger visitors. Outside there is a large beer
garden, patio and children's play area with swings, climbing frame and
goal posts for the better weather. We attract a good mix of
clientele from families to older people and workers from Ipswich joining
us for their lunch break. Traditional English food is served and
our Sunday roast is a particular favourite. During the summer,
meals are served al fresco if the weather permits. If you are new
to the area or just passing through why not join us and perhaps enjoy a
quality real ale with a meal chosen from the main menu or Special's
board. You will be given a warm welcome.
