The
Vine is a 16th Century Coaching Inn in Stafford which dates
back to 1487 and is a Grade II listed building still with many original features including
the beams and fireplaces. The pub is
reputedly haunted and Stafford itself is steeped in history,
from its Stone Age origins, through Roman and medieval times to
modern industrial life.
We are in a town centre position which attracts a busy lunchtime trade
from shoppers and people strolling round sight seeing.
We
can seat up to 100 people for dining and we also have a small private dining
room which can seat up to eight people for an intimate gathering or
occasion. We can also cater for small gatherings in an area of
restaurant for weddings, christenings and the like. For those looking
for accommodation, we also have twenty seven fully furnished rooms all with
flat screen TV's which were refurbished in the first quarter of 2008.
