'THE GREAT BRITISH CARVERY' AVAILABLE AT OUR PUB

All of our Carvery joints come from British Red Tractor Assured Farms that ensure the safety and welfare of their animals, whilst protecting and caring for the environment. We only source the very best British meats and seasonal vegetables, so our Carvery offer changes every day.

Today’s roasted meats will be usually a choice of 3 of the following:
Matured Saxon British beef, Norfolk turkey, Stuffed belly of Norfolk pork, Leg of Yorkshire pork, Outdoor bred British gammon, West Country shoulder of lamb. All served with a homemade Yorkshire pudding, chipolata sausage and stuffing. Choose from a selection of freshly prepared vegetables and potatoes. Top it all off with our roast onion (v) or roast meat gravy.

Monday to Saturday  £6.95.  Sunday  £8.95.

If you do not fancy a Carvery meal our Table menu has a comprehensive range of the best pub food dishes. Why not try our 'Homemade Pie of the Day' served with your choice of Carvery vegetables.

Victoria pub, May BankThe Victoria is decorated to a high standard with neutral colour scheme and a contemporary look serving contemporary carvery. Located not too far from the city of Newcastle under Lyme in a residential area, this beautiful old building is set back from the road with well kept gardens to the front.  It was a house at one time and formerly a hotel and has a lovely leaded window on the landing.  The restaurant and adjoining conservatory seats about 90 people and the ‘Parlour’ which is an offshoot room with a fireplace can place a further 25 diners.  The bar area has lovely leather seating.   As well as regular locals, people come from outside town and the surrounding areas for the fantastic daily carvery which offers a choice of at least three roasts and fresh vegetables.  There is always a warm friendly atmosphere to enjoy a drink, our fabulous carvery or the bar menu.   Most of the staff are long serving and some have been here in excess of 18 years.  With it’s own friendly ghost named Percy this is definitely a venue to put on your 'must try soon' list!
