Our Carvery selection changes daily because we only
source the very best British meats and seasonal vegetables.
There is a traditional pub food selection alongside the carvery
including sandwiches, baguettes, platters etc.
Carvery has a minimum of 3 roasts, a
large selection of fresh vegetables & traditional
accompaniments. All our produce is British Farm Assured & meat
is UK reared £7.25. Smaller portions are

 Upgraded
to a Carvery type pub in September 2007, following a refurbishment to a high
standard, The Victoria has a neutral colour scheme
and a contemporary look. Located not too far from the city of Newcastle
under Lyme in a residential area, this beautiful old building is set back
from the road with well kept gardens to the front. It was a
house at one time and formerly a hotel and has a lovely leaded window on the
landing. The restaurant and adjoining conservatory seats about 90
people and the
‘Parlour’ which is an offshoot room with a fireplace can place a further 25
diners. The bar area has lovely leather seating. As well as regular
locals,
people come from outside town and the surrounding areas for the fantastic
daily carvery which offers a choice of at least three roasts and fresh vegetables.
There is always a warm friendly atmosphere to enjoy
a drink, our fabulous carvery or the bar menu. Most of the staff
are long serving and some have been here in excess of 18 years. With it’s own friendly ghost named Percy
this is definitely a venue to put on your 'must try soon' list!
