 New Florence
can be found in a residential area about ½
mile from the centre of Longton, some 4 miles from Stoke on Trent. The pub
was built in 1999 on the site of the old Florence Colliery coal mine.
Re-branded to the Fayre & Square
concept in Summer 2011, the building is an open plan, one room operation with a single large bar
area. Everyone is welcome here and there is a good local crowd.
This is a great venue for families and other diners. Meals can be
chosen from the extensive Fayre & Square main menu with many of the dishes at a 2 for £10 price. The Wacky Warehouse is highly
popular with the youngsters as the play equipment guarantees hours of fun for
them. This, in turn, ensures their parents an opportunity to chill out and
