 The New Florence
can be found in a residential area about ½
mile from the centre of Longton, some 4 miles from Stoke on Trent. The pub was
built in 1999 on the site of the old Florence Colliery coal mine. It was
refurbished in 2003. The
building is an open plan, one room operation with a single large bar area.
Everyone is welcome here and there is a good local crowd. This is a
great venue for families and other diners. Meals can be chosen from an
extensive main menu and during the week the food deal is quite a draw. The Wacky Warehouse is highly
popular with the youngsters as the play equipment guarantees hours of fun for
them. This, in turn, ensures their parents an opportunity to chill out and
have some uninterrupted adult conversation! Come and see us next time you are in the area, have
