The New Florence can be found in a residential area about ˝ mile from the centre of Longton, some 4 miles from Stoke on Trent. The pub was built in 1999 on the site of the old Florence Colliery coal mine. The building is an open plan, one room operation with a single large bar area. Everyone is welcome here and there is a good local crowd. This is a great venue for families and other diners.
