| NEWLY BUILT | Merry Monk Beefeater Grill and Premier Inn were newly built Autumn 2011. The new Beefeater Grill concept is very apparent as soon as you walk in with modern decor along with the open plan grill where you can see your food being freshly prepared at any part of the restaurant. We can also seat up to 20 people in front of the where the food is prepared which people love and creates a good atmosphere for groups of people. Come and see us soon. |

DINING AT OUR BEEFEATER
Our passion is chargrilling, because we're passionate about food. We only use the finest cuts of steak from traditionally reared cattle fed predominantly on grass to ensure exceptional flavour and tenderness. Our steaks are expertly prepared by a British family run firm of butchers and matured for a minimum of 21 days before being seared on the chargrill for that special Beefeater taste! Today on our menu you'll also find succulent chicken and fish as well as fabulous salads.

 Merry Monk was newly built in Autumn 2011 alongside a Premier Inn Hotel in Burton upon Trent. At the A38 Branston junction, follow the A1521 towards Burton and take the 3rd exit at the roundabout - the restaurant is on the left. The new Beefeater Grill concept is very apparent as soon as you walk in with the open plan grill where you can see your food being freshly prepared from any part of the restaurant. We are passionate about our food creating great dishes so sit back and enjoy those char grilled flavours. A group of up to 20 people can watch their food being prepared right in front of them which creates a great talking point whilst enjoying the atmosphere. You will also find a good selection of beers and real ales to complement your meal.
