at the crossroads of the pretty village of Clayton, you will find the
Gatehouse.
We re-opened following a refurbishment and change of concept in Winter 2010
to a Fayre & Square family dining house. With all new fixtures,
fittings, decor we have a great contemporary look including booth
seating. This pub suits all ages and tastes. We
are very popular at the weekends and on these days we take no bookings.
Our helpful and friendly staff can offer you not only good food but and
excellent range of drinks. Special needs customers regularly come
here and we have access and a toilet for the disabled. Outside, the pub
has a new play area for the children and a large beer garden can be
enjoyed by all. Only one mile from Junction 15 of the M6, next to hotels
and close to Alton Towers, we are very accessible by car and always well
