Wenvoe Arms PhotoThe Wenvoe Arms is a traditional village pub on the outskirts of Cardiff, not far from the airport and on the way to Barry Island.  The village has a bypass so follow the signs to Wenvoe to find us.  Inside, there is a classic tiled bar area and a carpeted lounge with two open fires which are lit on cold wintry nights.  Outside there are three seating areas.  One is at the entrance to the car park, the second is a patio area with a side window for service to avoid the need to go through into the bar and there is a third grass garden.  This is a trouble free, family friendly venue which has a very good regular locals clientele who help to welcome newcomers and make them feel 'at home'.  Good pub food is cooked to order from a main menu and Specials board.  There is a range of wines to choose from or real ales / draught beers available at the bar if preferred.  Entertainment includes darts and petanque teams which help create a good community spirit here.  Come and find us next time you are in the area and maybe try your hand at something new!

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
