Ty-Risha PhotoTy-Risha is a destination food house set in beautiful walking countryside with mature trees in Bridgend.  Located behind the McArthur Glen shopping complex just off Junction 36 of the M4 we are easily accessible and yet off the beaten track!  The main part of the building dates back to the 1600's when it was the courthouse.  The wine cellar downstairs used to be the cells.  Later it became a farmhouse and later still a public house.  Having had a refurbishment in September 2005 it has been tastefully done to retain a traditional look with rough stone walls, exposed ceilings and roaring open fires for chilly wintry nights.  We have a 130 seater restaurant and a small lounge area.  All our food is cooked to order and prepared from fresh ingredients with an extensive selection of high quality main meals and snacks.  The well stocked bar has a good range of wines, real ales or draught beers to complement your meal to make your visit extra special.  During the summer it is well worth coming to enjoy our superb gardens.  The one to the front has 15 picnic benches and there is a larger one to the rear with a children's play area to keep our younger visitors amused for hours.  Come along soon to this trouble free, family friendly pub to enjoy a relaxed sociable time.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
