Photo Coming SoonTynewydd is a modern style community venue with soft lighting, neutral décor, sofas and low tables situated in a residential area of Barry.  The building is old and used to be a doctors' surgery and nursery.  Today, at night time, the front of the pub with the patio area is all lit up and looks very nice.  Inside is open plan, but discreetly segregated, with sport being shown to one side of the building.  This is a friendly pub with a pleasant, easy going atmosphere.  Food is freshly prepared and home cooked to order from a main menu and Specials board which includes traditional Welsh dishes and is served throughout the pub.  We can take pre-orders for food to avoid delay if you have a tight time schedule.  The monthly changing food offer is a particular favourite especially when complemented by a choice wine or real ale.  Our clientele includes regular visitors because of our reputation for good quality food and a mixture of all ages, including families attracted by our trouble free status.  Come and see us next time you are in the area.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
