DINING AT OUR PUB

We offer a mix of classic & traditional dishes using Welsh produce. Old favourites such as Beer Battered Fish & Chips and Steak & Ale Pie are mixed in with the traditional char-grilled steaks, gammon and chicken, alongside more modern dishes such as pastas and vegetarian ranges to suit a variety of tastes! We offer a range of smaller snacks for those wishing to choose a lighter option. These include filled breads and jacket potatoes. Children are offered a special menu for the under 12's.

The Tynant Inn is a charming country pub situated in Morganstown on the outskirts of Cardiff. Originally built in 1815 the original facade now forms the back of the bar. It has gradually been extended over the years to the sizeable venue it is today. We re-opened following a refurbishment in Summer 2009 where we created extra dining space. Inside is open plan with the light from the windows creating a light and airy environment. The oak beams and log fires give a traditional cosy welcome on those chilly wintry days whilst during the summer the beer garden is a lovely spot to chill out over a drink or al fresco meal whilst the youngsters use up some energy in the play area. Being the only pub for a few miles we have a strong local regulars clientele as well as attracting visitors from further afield. Food is served from a main menu to be enjoyed with a choice of wine or real ale, if preferred. As we hold Cask Marque accreditation, this ensures you ale is served to the highest standard. If you are planning a private party, we have a function room for up to 25 people seated. Come and meet everyone at this relaxed, cheerful venue soon. You will be given a very warm welcome.
