Star PhotoThe Star is a superb, attractive village pub situated in Dinas Powys.  The beautiful surrounding countryside attracts walkers from near and far.  Many use our car park as a starting point for organised rambles, returning to enjoy a refreshing pint of the best. A good, trouble free and female friendly locals pub there is one large room which has a cosy atmosphere created by the open fires, old beams and dried hops hung around the bar.  We serve freshly cooked, homemade food from a traditional / contemporary menu with daily changing chef's Specials board.  Add a choice wine or real ale to your meal and you have an experience to remember.  Our reputation for excellent food and drink makes us the best pub in the area as our local regulars will vouch for.  With good disabled facilities this is a venue for all so if you are in the area, come and visit us soon.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
