REFURBISHMENT |
We re-opened following a
refurbishment in May 2009. We have a great modern look creating extra
dining space and a sports bar. There is also a brand new kitchen and
booth seating, four of which include flat screen TV's. Inside & outside
has been re-painted including the bar which has been re-varnished. We
now ask that only over 18's are in the bar area. 'The
Lounge' is great for peace and quiet and can be hired for parties of up
to 25. Come along and see

 Situated
on the outskirts of Barry, near the Harbour you will find The
Ship. This Hungry Horse
venue is open plan with lovely views, where part of the Harbour can be spied from the beer
garden! Popular with regulars and tourists alike we serve
traditional meals from the extensive menu and children have
their own choice. We re-opened following a refurbishment in May 2009
creating extra dining space. There are numerous TVs screening Sky and ESPN
sports so enthusiasts can watch that all important game from anywhere in the pub.
We also have them in booth seating for your pleasure.
Younger visitors have a modernised indoor play area with activities for kids
to run off some energy whilst parents enjoy a chat over a drink or meal.
The Ship has overall excellent facilities including ones for the
disabled & a baby feeding area. This means that we really are an ideal venue for the whole
