 Situated at the top of the High Street on Agincourt Square
in the historic town of Monmouth you will find The Punch House. This
Grade II listed building has a traditional appearance with exposed beams et
al and houses our famous ghost, 'Charles' who used to be a hanging judge in
the 1700's! Today we are a venue not to be passed by as we offer
excellent food, drink and entertainment. The food is second to none,
cooked to order using local produce whenever possible. Our Sunday carvery is extremely popular with people coming from as far as Bristol to
enjoy their lunch with us. Make sure you come early as the carvery is
only available until the meat runs out! All the rooms in the en suite
accommodation have their own individual character. The
Punch House is a place to put on your 'must try soon' list. The
friendly, helpful staff, together with the regular locals will make you very
welcome.
