 The
Pub On The Pond lies just 150 yards from the beach on
Swansea Bay. The pub was built in 1984 and, with Devonish drop ceilings, a
wooden roof and old wooden furniture, has a mixture of modern and
traditional features. It stands next to Swansea University and Singleton Hospital
within 4½ acres of parkland. Here there is crazy
golf, a boating lake and a large children's play area with a bouncy
castle. During the summer this is definitely the place to be!
Inside, the restaurant area is separated from the main bar by a couple of
archways but people dine wherever they wish or on the patio in good
weather. Food is served from an extensive main menu with a selection of
wines to complement your choice. The meal offer which is available every
week is particularly
popular. This is a really relaxed, female and family friendly venue.
The warm, helpful staff give all newcomers a special
welcome.
