 The
Pick & Shovel is located on
the main road between Treforest and Pontypridd close to the University of
Glamorgan. This is a contemporary, modern venue with a traditional pub feel.
Being all on ground level it is easily accessible to everyone. Popular with
Sport enthusiasts, there is a big screen and several small screens built into
the walls to allow you to sit at specific tables and have your own personal
viewing of a particular match. Food is
served daily from an extensive main menu offering traditional pub food and
bar snacks and this can be enjoyed anywhere in the pub. There is a good community
feel here with regular weekly entertainment and pub darts team. If you are new to the area or just passing through be sure to call in and
