Park PhotoThe Park in Barry is within walking distance of Barry Island and Porth Kerry Park.  The surrounding area is beautiful with plenty of country walks to be enjoyed.  A traditional drinking pub, there are three bars - a public bar, a small lounge bar and a larger lounge bar.  For Sport enthusiasts there are several TV's and large plasmas to view all the major matches, plus a darts board and skittle alley for the more active.  The lounge bar can be hired out for private functions.  Situated in a residential area, this good locals / community pub is popular more for the fact that it is a traditional pub and not a trendy wine bar.  We welcome a good mix of younger, right through to retired people.  A very mixed crowd which are particularly attracted to our weekly quiz.  Come and see us next time you are down this way and enjoy a quality real ale served to perfection amid the good, friendly atmosphere which is the Park.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
