 The Old Post is a great destination food house located on
the A48 between Bridge End and Cardiff in the village of Bonvilston.
Tucked away in a pretty area, you could be miles from anywhere!
Historically this old building was used as a stopover where coach travellers
and horses would rest en route between Swansea and London. Today much
of the traditional look has been retained with exposed beams, nooks and
crannies. The lounge is furnished to a high standard with comfy sofas,
coffee tables and a TV. This is a good place to meet up with friends,
chill out and perhaps have an aperitif whilst awaiting you meal in the
restaurant. The menu offer s selection of wholesome meals for the
whole family. The food offer is if you purchase any two main meals you
receive the least expensive meal free.
This is a warm, friendly venue which caters for the complete age spectrum.
Outside there is a safe, enclosed garden with a play area, to keep our
younger visitors amused whilst the adults relax in the summer sunshine.
