Lamb & Flag pub, LlanwenarthThe Lamb & Flag is situated in Llanwenarth on the outskirts of Abergavenny just within the National Park area. It is a beautiful location within a valley surrounded by hills with stunning views and Sugar Loaf Mountain as the backdrop!  Walkers start out from the pub.  The original pub dates back over 400 years but it was burnt down in the late 1970s and has been rebuilt with extensive additions. Accommodation is available with five refurbished letting room.  We are able to open up the function room to enlarge the pub to accommodate more if needs be.  This is a destination food house which offers homemade food, all prepared in house using fresh produce.  Having Cask Marque status means that our real ales also should be tasted...!  We have a large outdoor play area, this is an ideal place to bring the family.  In summer you can take in the views from the large seating area whilst keeping an eye on the youngsters as they play.  Come and try the quality food and drink at this rather special place in Wales.
