This traditional locals pub is situated in Newport.
The Handpost is a pub where good
conversation is made easy because of the lack of loud music. We
are a great choice for real ale drinkers, with a log fire to complete
the friendly, warm atmosphere. We are trouble free and
female friendly. Situated in a quiet residential area between the
M4 and the Cathedral we are recommended by all the local hotels for our
food. Customers travel from far and wide just to eat here.
We have a very strong rugby following for Newport Rugby Club. This
is an all round pub welcoming everyone.
