The Halfway
is located on the high street in
Pontcanna, a residential area half a mile from Cardiff City Centre.
There is a lot going on around us as we are easily accessible by bus or
train and close to the Millennium Stadium, Glamorgan Cricket Club, Llandaff Cathedral, Folk Museum and Sports Centre. Since our major
refit in October 2003, The Halfway has been transformed from your 'spit and
sawdust - type' local to a popular, trouble free venue. The pub is
now open plan, all on one level with highly polished floors and a
sophisticated look. There is a laid back, calm, atmosphere here
which offers a non threatening environment for men and women who come
alone or with friends. There are areas for both private
conversations over a quality drink or for larger groups. Good food
is served throughout and the outdoor courtyard is very popular for al
fresco dining during the summer. We offer a selection of Specials
alongside the main menu which includes traditional Welsh dishes. A
superb choice of drinks is on tap to complete a memorable dining
experience so why not visit us soon and give yourself a treat.
