Photo Coming SoonRe-opened after a major redevelopment in May 2007, The Grape & Olive is now an upmarket, contemporary, wine bar style venue rather than a traditional pub located just ⅔ mile from Cardiff centre.  Upstairs and downstairs bars have the olive theme throughout.  There are olive green walls, jars of olives on display and the back bar has olive green lighting coming through.  The bar / dining areas run into one but with a relaxed style and different zones right through.  Raised areas, leather sofas, relaxed seating and free standing tables and chairs, allow you to choose according to your mood.  Cutlery is laid out by a waitress when you order your meal and full waitress service is available all day.  Our own menu offers freshly prepared, cooked to order dishes with a Mediterranean feel, yet with traditional pub food also available.  We use fresh produce in our meals which is authentically sourced from Italy or Wales, wherever possible.  The upstairs pub kitchen has a large window to enable you to see the chefs preparing your food.  Outside, the patio and decked areas are ideal to while away a summer afternoon with a bottle of wine or a superb meal, alone or with friends.  The state of the art Market Research Suite, is a great new feature, with the most up to date technology available for meetings, conferences and assessments.  Our function room is also ideal for small and large private parties, with menus tailored to suit you.   If you are in Cardiff and want to try somewhere away from the city centre we are an easy place to get to. Come and see us soon.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
