The Gower is a fantastic local
community pub, one of the few traditional pubs left. Located in a residential area,
tucked away on a back street, we are near the main road which leads to the
town centre, in an area well populated with shops. A welcoming atmosphere
is created by the local regulars and staff alike. There is quite a mixture of customers
who all get on together and once you have come here you will tend to return.
This brick built
building is traditional inside having a lounge and bar with a separate
function room. There is also a Sports area with a full sized snooker table
and pool
table. We have a photo collection of Sport personalities who have visited the pub
including the likes of Emlyn Hughes along with trophies from snooker tournaments.
