 The Fox
& Hounds is located in Whitchurch, a suburb of
Cardiff which still retains its village feel. Dating back to the
1800's, there are photos around the bar depicting it in the olden days.
Inside, the pub is well furnished and has retained its traditional ambiance
with its exposed beams. Although open plan there are well segregated
areas and a dining area. The outside is decorated
with floral displays and there is a patio and bench seating in the neat,
tidy beer garden. Try our cooked to order meals prepared from fresh
ingredients such dishes as Welsh lamb and the popular Sunday roast
have to be tasted...! For those who are restricted by time we offer a
pre-order service which allows for your meal to be ready on arrival.
The bar has a really good selection of about five well kept real ales and
other draught beers along with a range of wines to choose from. We
show all major matches on two plasma screens and there is other live
entertainment occasionally. Come a little out of your way to try this
sociable pub soon.
