The Duke of Wellington is the oldest building in the
original market town of Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan. It lies on
the old A48 between Cardiff and Bridgend which are
seven and six miles away respectively. Built
in the 15th Century this award winning pub was
refurbished in Summer 2011 giving us a fabulous new
look and Gastro dining. Our food is cooked to order
served from a daily changing menu with dishes all
priced individually. Our meat, fish and vegetables
are sourced in Wales. Functions can be held here for a variety of
occasions including civil weddings inside however our patio area with piped
music outside and plenty of seating is also a great
space for occasions. We also play a major part in the annual Cowbridge Food Festival. With an impressive
selection of wines, champagnes and real ales to choose from,
your meal will be one to remember.
This is a fantastic all round pub for local regulars coming in for a pint of the best and people from further afield looking
for a quality meal.
Make sure you come and sample this very friendly
pub in the near future.
