Courthouse pub, CaerphillyThe Courthouse is an attractive Grade II listed building which dates back to 1320 when it was the courthouse for Caerphilly Castle, the second largest in Britain.  The pub has two turrets to the rear and is located on a busy High Street.  On entering it feels as though you are walking into the countryside with a view of the mountains, trees, the Castle and moat being just 200 feet away. We are the only pub in the area with such a spectacular outlook!  We have a diverse range of customers of all ages, including many tourists.  We hold a special license to serve alcohol from 10am.  There is a restaurant area with 235 covers but our fantastic food can be enjoyed anywhere in the pub or outside in the beer garden, weather permitting.  We also provide an all day breakfast.  Don't forget to come and see us when you are down this way.  You certainly won't be disappointed.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
