Photo Coming SoonThe Castle is located just off the main area in Barry.  This big old building is over 100 years old and has very high ceilings with ceiling roses and door architraves.  Inside it is very much a traditional venue with a bar, lounge and downstairs skittle alley.  Upstairs there is a function room suitable for up to 75 people approached by a big wooden staircase.  This is a popular haunt for Sport enthusiasts as we have a snooker room with snooker table, pool table and darts board.  Hence we have teams for all three activities.  Other entertainment includes a live band on a Friday night, a folk club mid-week and a quiz night.  This is a  traditional, friendly, community pub where regular locals and passers by call in for a relaxed chat over a quality pint.  See you soon.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
