Carpenters Arms PhotoThe Carpenters Arms is located on a busy main road in Rumney, near Cardiff.  With local shops and banks nearby this is a big pub which is easily accessible by road and is on the main bus route into town.  Attracting clientele of all ages people come during the day to watch the racing in the lounge bar and have a game of pool or darts in the sports area.  Locals and passers by arrive at lunchtime to enjoy a drink with friends.  The pub is an old building which used to be a blacksmiths.  Horses were shod to one end and their owners would drink at the other!  Nowadays, having had a refurbishment in Spring 2004, the inside of this Q's is modern fresh and revitalised since the sparkle.  Along with the Sport we hold monthly entertainment and there is a good lively atmosphere to be enjoyed, especially at the weekend.  Why not come and try out this friendly local for yourself and maybe become a regular thereafter.
