Photo Coming SoonDating back to approximately 1888, The Albion is set on Glebe Street in the heart of Penarth. This is a real community pub with a warm and friendly atmosphere which has a good reputation with the locals.  We welcome many couples and more mature customers in particular who enjoy the trouble environment. We also see plenty of passers by given a new cycle / pedestrian path has been opened at the end of our road which leads right into the centre.  It makes us an ideal drop in destination for a meal or drink on the way home from work or when out shopping. There is a separate bar and lounge areas which are traditionally styled with contemporary touches.  We are behind the town centre with a nearby community owned park which was previously a quarry as far back as 1860.  Fund raising events are held regularly there such as the popular annual music festival.  Our close proximately to the festival means we are the ideal venue for a meal or drink.  We have an array of weekly entertainment where people feel relaxed enough to come and play instruments at our Open Mic Workshop or simply play the well cared for piano in the bar. But there’s something to suit everyone from quizzes to poker too.  We are well known for our quality real ales and have two annual festivals which are very well attended.  With guaranteed good homemade meals available daily this is very much an all round pub which has to be tried!
